Bedside clocks that are easy to read and hard to sleep through
Big-digit alarm clocks, ceiling projection clocks, bed-shaker alarms and small clocks with temperature: the full Netzu lineup sold on Amazon UK, model by model and colour by colour.
One brand, a clock for every bedside
Netzu makes plug-in digital clocks with large LED digits and a dimmer that goes all the way down, so the display is readable from across the room in daylight and stays out of the way at night.
Some models are built to wake heavy sleepers with a loud alarm or a vibrating bed pad, some throw the time onto the ceiling, and others simply add the date and room temperature. Below is every Netzu clock we found in stock on this marketplace, with each colour option as its own card.

Which Netzu clock fits your night?
Three common reasons people pick one of these clocks.

For heavy sleepers
If a phone alarm is not enough, the loud models reach up to four volume levels and the bed-shaker versions add a vibrating pad under the pillow, with sound only, vibration only or both.

For checking the time in the dark
A projection clock puts the digits on the ceiling, so you can see the time without turning over or reaching for your glasses. Projection brightness is adjustable and the image can be flipped.

For kids’ rooms and soft light
Night-light clocks give a gentle glow for bedtime, and the colourful digits make reading the time fun. The kids models add nap timers, child locks and sleep training.

What Netzu clocks have in common
Large LED digits
Bold numbers readable from across the room, also without glasses.
Dim to dark
Most displays dim in several steps down to fully off for sleep.
Adjustable alarm
Several volume levels, snooze and, on most models, two alarms.
Memory backup
Backup batteries keep time and alarms when the power goes out.
Setting up a Netzu alarm clock
A short routine based on the instructions in the listings. Button names differ slightly by model; the quick guide printed on many clocks shows the exact keys.
Power it and add the backup batteries
Plug the clock in with the supplied cable and adapter. Insert the AAA (or coin-cell) batteries if your model has a backup compartment: they only save settings during a power cut and do not run the display.
Set the time
Press and hold SET until the hour flashes, change it with + or −, press SET, then do the same for the minutes. A short press of SET switches between 12- and 24-hour time on most models.
Set one or two alarms
Press the alarm key (AL1 or AL2), adjust hour and minutes the same way, then choose the tone and volume. Models with schedules let you pick daily, weekdays or weekends.
Pick the wake mode
On bed-shaker models, place the pad under the pillow or mattress and choose sound only, vibration only or both before you go to sleep.
Aim the projection
Turn the projector arm toward the ceiling or wall, use the flip key if the digits appear upside down, and set the projection brightness. On models with a focus ring, sharpen the image.
Dim the display for the night
Step through the brightness levels with the dimmer key or wheel until the display is comfortable, or turn it off completely if the room needs to be dark.
Care & safety
Wipe the clock with a dry, soft cloth and keep it away from water. Use the adapter or cable that came with it, keep the projector lens free of dust, and remove the backup batteries if you store the clock for a long time.
Quick fixes
- The display went dark.Check that the clock is plugged in: on mains models the batteries cannot light the screen. Then press the dimmer key, the display may be set to off.
- The time was lost after a power cut.Insert fresh backup batteries; without them the clock forgets its settings when unplugged.
- The time is one hour off.Press the DST button to move the clock forward or back by one hour.
- The projection is upside down or blurry.Press the flip key and move the arm closer to a flat, light surface.

Frequently asked questions
Do the batteries power the clock?
On most Netzu models, no. They are mains or USB-powered and the AAA or coin-cell batteries only keep the time and alarms during a power cut. The Battery & USB model is the exception: it runs on four AA batteries or on its USB cable.
Which Netzu clock is best for heavy sleepers?
Start with the loud models: they offer up to four volume levels and large snooze bars. If sound alone does not wake you, a bed-shaker model adds a vibrating pad that you place under the pillow.
How does the bed shaker work?
The round pad is connected to the clock by a cable and goes under your pillow or mattress. When the alarm goes off it vibrates; you can choose sound only, vibration only or both, which also suits people who are hard of hearing.
Can I turn the display completely off at night?
Most models dim in several steps all the way to off, either with a dimmer key on top or a wheel or slider on the side or back. The alarm still works with the display off.
How far does the projection reach?
The projection clocks throw the time about 0.5 to 3.5 m (1.6 to 11.4 ft); the wooden model with a focus ring reaches up to about 5 m. The arm swivels and the image can be flipped by 180°.
Do the clocks adjust for daylight saving time?
Not automatically. Models with a DST button move the time by one hour with a single press; on the others you set the hour manually twice a year.
Can I charge my phone from the clock?
Yes, on the models with a USB output: the projection clock with date and temperature, the RGB night-light clock and the big-number clock with night light. Check the card specs for the USB port.
Which clock suits a child’s room?
The night-light clocks in the colourful category: they combine soft light with large, colourful digits. Toast models add a nap timer and a child lock.
Do the clocks show the temperature in °C or °F?
The models with a temperature reading can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. They measure the indoor temperature where the clock stands.
Do these clocks tick?
No. They are digital LED clocks with no moving hands, so they are silent apart from the alarm.
